I want you to know how hard I worked on that bowl of chowder.
When I was thinking about what Kaga might have lying around, well… when you’re feeling out of sorts, don’t you want a nice big bowl of soup? Chowder is surprisingly easy to make, and it’s creamy and rich. Flaky, piping-hot morsels of potato, translucent bits of onion, maybe some bits of carrot or celery? My favorite kind is Boston-style clam chowder (sorry, Manhattan).
It goes without saying that the best kind of soup, however, is the kind someone else makes for you when you’re under the weather or feeling down. Drinking that down is like coming back to the land of the living!
