Recently went to a class on Storytelling that talked about old episodes of the Simpsons. I haven't watched an episode for years and years, and the pacing is completely different from today's streaming series... but the best ones still make me laugh.

So I went and bought a bunch of box sets :'). It's worth it, though!

Honestly, one of the things that most surprised me was that the Simpsons themselves. I seem to remember they were considered dysfunctional at the timebecause Bart would curse and Homer was dumb. But Homer never even considered the possibility of skipping Lisa's recital, and Bart and Homer flipping out about the Truckasaurus together was really heartwarming.

Is this what happens when time moves on?! I get the same feeling watching episodes of the X-Files...
